ABOUT US.
We are Aina Marrase and Dario Caravello, two skilled and passionate art conservators based in Brisbane. We have been trained in Spain and Italy, and we have more than 20 years of combined international work experience, 12 of which in one of the oldest private conservation service providers in Australia.
The protection and conservation of every artwork or cultural material entrusted to our care is our number one priority. We love what we do, and we are absolutely committed to providing high quality, ethical and science based conservation and restoration services to our clients.
Sustainability is important to us too. Scalpel’n’Brush is 100% solar powered and we are currently working on finding environmentally responsible solutions to our practices that include materials, methods and packaging in order to preserve cultural heritage while protecting the environment for future generations.
